PROCEDURE FOR ADMISSION
REGISTRATION
Admission to the school is strictly based on prior registration. Registration does not guarantee admission. The latter will depend on the performance of students in the admission test / interview.
ADMISSION
A separate prescribed admission form is to be submitted completely filled in and supported with attested Photostat copies of all relevant documents and two passport size photographs. Copy of the Date of Birth certificate is must for every admission. Merit alone shall qualify an individual for admission.
AGE REQUIREMENT
For admission in Nursery class, the age of the child should be between two and a half years to three years as on 1st April of the year of admission.
RULES
- The school uniform is to be worn on all class days.
- Every student should carry with him/ her school diary.
- No pupil should scratch or spoil the furniture or write on the walls or in any way damage things belonging to the school or others.
- It is not advisable to bring valuable articles to school.
- Pupils are strictly forbidden to leave the school premises during the school hours without the permission of the principal. Parents/ guardian should sent their application to the Principal in case they want their ward back home before the school gets over.
- Students name may be struck off from the register if he/she, is absent from the school for two consecutive weeks without the principal`s prior permission. If she/ he wishes to rejoin the school he/she will have to fulfill the conditions of admission for new pupil.
- No book, magazine or paper other than required for the classes or from the school library may be brought to the school.
- Use of foul or abusive language, irregular attendance, unsatisfactory academic progress, stealing , grave insubordination , contempt of authority or any action likely to lower the name of the institution will not be tolerated. The school reserves the right for immediate expulsion or rustication under such circumstances for the good of the institution.
ADMISSION AND WITHDRAWL
The principal reserves the right to dismiss those pupils, whose progress in studies is unsatisfactory, the attendance is irregular or their condition is harmful to other students.
RECOMMENDATIONS FOR THE PARENTS
- Parents are earnestly requested to enforce regularly and discipline at home and to look into their child`s school diary every day, They are particularly to sign the principal’s or teacher remarks. Failure to do this may put their child to great inconvenience.
- Private Tutions are strongly discouraged.
- As the medium of instruction in the school is English ,the children should be helped to follow their classes easily and intelligently by a certain amount of regular English conversation at home.
- The parents are requested to see that the books are covered neatly and the name and the class of student is written on every book.
- Parents are requested to attend all the Parent and Teachers meetings.
EXAMINATION AND CRITERIA FOR PROMOTION
- Terminal examinations are held in two semesters.
- Promotion is granted on the basis of the whole year`s performance of the pupil. Hence, the importance of regularity in attendance is stressed.
- Pupil`s absent from the examinapeion (excluding medical ground) will not be re-examined.
- Results declared at the end of school year will be final and not re-considerable.
- Term wise printed syllabus will be provided at the time of admission.
